Effect of C 3 H 4 O 3 on Band Gap Narrowing of Proton Conductive Hybrid Polymer Electrolyte

In the present work, hybrid polymer electrolyte based on carboxymethyl cellulose-polyvinyl alcohol-ammonium nitrate-ethylene carbonate (CMC–PVA–NH4NO3–C3H4O3) become promising materials that has demonstrated outstanding physical properties as an electrolytes system in solar cell. frame of cell progress, electrical conductivity and optical bandgap are equally explored. The characterization is carried out via impedance spectroscopy (EIS) ultraviolet visible-near infrared (UV-VIS-NIR) spectroscopy. An equivalent circuit parallel combination, bulk resistance (Rb), constant phase element (CPE) obtained from transparent conductive film, CMC–PVA–NH4NO3–C3H4O3. optimum ionic accomplished at 3.92 × 10−3 S cm-1 for sample containing with 6 wt.% C3H4O3. absorption spectra evaluated wavelength ranging 200 to 1100 nm. Theoretical analysis reveals addition wt. % EC initiating band gap narrowing 4.96 4.88 eV. results show developed materials-based have great potential energy devices.
